It is Tuesday again, and today I’m going to introduce you to two of my workout buddies.
My two kids have been my greatest encouragement along the way. Every morning L and I drop J off at preschool then we come home and head downstairs to the home gym. L does some stretching with me, and when Chalean is not going crazy with the “steps” L joins in. On the weekends J joins in on the fun, but he is really only allowed in the gym when I’m done. He is old enough to play in his room while I’m working out, and the gym is to small for how much energy he has.;)
I want exercise to be fun, and being healthy a way of life, so for me to let my kids into the gym is part of building that healthy foundation. Granted there are days when I just want to sweat it out alone, but the reality is that hardly ever happens.
So if your a mom and you don’t know how to fit healthy habits into your crazy busy life try making your life fit into your habits. Chances are the kids will have fun playing while your sweating.
