I have big plans regarding my diet and exercise plan, and the only way to know how I’m doing is to know if I am compliant or not within my goals.
I want to loose 2lbs each week until goal, so what are my goals to get there? I lift weights 4 days a week, HIT cardio 2 days a week, and static cardio on the 4 days I lift. I realize this seems like a lot but unfortunately my daily moving has not really increased so I have to be really careful with what goes into my mouth. I found and downloaded a calorie counting program that helps me keep track of how many calories I can eat to reach my goal.
Am I compliant? Well that is what I will be focusing on this week. Within Precision Nutrition’s rules compliance is as follows.
- Each time I sat down to eat did my plate have protein, veggies, and healthy fat?
- Did I eat every 3 hours?
- Did I incorporate my pre and post workout foods accordingly?
- Did I eat at least 6 meals today?
- Did I workout? Did I rest?
- Did I take my fish oil and vitamin?
If I follow these rules I should see my goal of loosing 2lbs happen. Though it’s not easy when I have a life to live and kids to feed, but it is a worthy goal. Tomorrow is grocery shopping day, so today I will put together meals that fit in with the plan.
