The meltdown, you know when you have it. You can no longer do anything everything makes you crazy, and it looks something like this;
The day started with me hitting the snooze button more then once, which meant I would be hurrying to get out the door no matter what. My son wet his bed, therefore he too needed a shower, my daughter made a huge mess with cereal which required a hose, and when I thought maybe I would make it to my destination on time I go outside to see the car frozen over.
With a few glorious hours to refresh with a bible study I came home late and the kids “cat-napped” in the car, which any mom knows means you can kiss the nap goodbye. I immediately went to find my husband. All I wanted was a hug and a gental reminder that we are in this together. Come what may, he is there.
I am sure there will be more days like this one, but I’m so glad I am not alone.
