I’m not entirely finished yet, but I couldn’t wait to write about some of my thoughts. For those of you that have read it you’ll understand and for those of you that have not I will not give anything away, so you will NEED to go pick up a copy.
I think it is safe to say that I have been changed while reading this book. I have put it down long enough to be a wife and a mother, but when I’m not I’ve spent reading this book. The greatest thing to come from it so far is how excited I am to open the Bible. It seems like a fresh breath of air has blown in this house, and I feel more relaxed than I have in a long time. My desire to know God is ravishing, and I can’t wait to meet with Him.
I’m not sure yet that I agree with everything the author has suggested about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, but that has only wet my appetite for what God does say. Good authors always point to Jesus.
Life is a relationship and relationships are savored slowly, and purposefully. I pray He’ll help me be more purposeful in our relationship.
