Now that we are weeks into homeschooling I feel like it is safe to suggest that our schedule is working. Therefore here is what our days look like.
7am mom wakes up, and begins my day with a big cup of coffee.
7:30am kids wake up with more energy then an energizer bunny, which will require more coffee for mom.
8am I make breakfast for the kids and blend up a Shakeology for myself.
8-9am We get dressed, clean up the kitchen, make beds, and if there is time the kids run around outside before school starts.
9am We sit down at the table and begin our day with our Community Bible Study. J and I have workbooks to complete so L colors at the table while listening to our study.
9:30am L heads over to the computer for a few lessons at Time4learning.com, while J and I start the PALS program.
10am The big switch. J’s turn on the computer and L comes to the table for her Saxon Phonics lesson.
10:30am is snack which usually consists of fruit and protein.
After snack J comes back to the table for Saxon Math 2 while L continues on the computer.
11:15am We all come together for Classical Conversations memory work and review.
At Noon we drop what we are doing and the kids go outside while I make them lunch. While they are eating lunch I read our history lesson from The Story Of The World, and they go back outside while I clean up.
1pm J gets back on the computer and L sits at the table for her Saxon Math lesson.
1:15pm L is done and J and I finish our Language Arts work
1:30pm L goes down for a nap, J and I work on any straggling projects or games then he goes into his room to listen to a book on tape for an hour.
2-3pm I work out…so if anyone tries to reach me during this hour unless it is a 911 emergency my phone goes silent.
After 3 and all our school work is done we spend most of the afternoon outside, going to soccer practice, or visiting with friends.
5:30pm is dinner
7:30pm its bed time for the kids
8-10pm I clean the house, prep for the next day, and I finally sit down. 🙂
Some where in all of this I fit in 2 bible studies, soccer games, cleaning, laundry, and errands. I don’t know how it all works except to give all the glory to God alone who has blessed our days, and given me an wonderful husband who helps when he is home.

Looks like a great schedule! Ours is whacky now that I work, and my workout time has always been 7:00. Not sure how I will adjust running with that as it gets dark earlier.
