I have to say this was the best camping experience yet, and it had a lot to do with this, our borrowed trailer. I really never thought I would get to the point in life where tent camping did not sound fun, but here I am.
The kids eating lunch in the bug free, dirt free zone. How could you not smile? Pay close attention to how clean they are here.
Our view for the next 4 days. The trees are not much different from those outside our back door at home, but we just don’t have a lake sitting below those grand mountains.
Good Morning! It’s just breathtaking.
Fireman took on the responsibility of coffee first thing in the morning, breakfast, and cleanup (for 3 families). He truly is Superman.
The kids had so much fun playing with their friends, and notice how much dirtier they are getting.
What would camping be without fishing? J didn’t catch any fish but he sure looks cute sitting there with his fishing pole in the water. It warms my heart….and then he got up.
My dad came up to fish too, and here is this wonderful picture of all 3 of my favorite men. I love it.
My dad told L if she talks into the “microphone” to the fish they will be more likely to come and have lunch. He is the best at keeping the kiddos interested in a potentially boring sport.
What can I say here? She’s my girl!
Fireman made fire for the kiddos. Don’t try this at home.
Did I mention we went camping with the church, and one of many things is the church does really well is feed people. We ate and ate and ate.
