I am so flattered to have been asked this past month to be a part of some amazing opportunities, but I need a year to focus on my family.
Therefore my goals this year are as follows:
- Keep Moving Forward!
- Become a Hero for my kids.
- Be the wife my Fireman looks forward to coming home to.
- and Love the Lord my God with all my heart and soul.
I will never get these days back to shape and form my kids hearts to love and fear the Lord. There will be plenty of time for speaking engagements, businesses, and trips after my job of homeschooling is over. I want to enjoy this life God has given me, and the only way I can see that becoming a reality is learning to say no. My family is my top priority and I have to say no to anything that comes between them and me.
I am going to learn to breathe where I am. Read the books that are already on my Kindle. Finish the curriculum I have (wow that’s a big one). Keep pushing play with the Beachbody workouts I already own. Grow in the commitments I have already made.
I have a wonderful, beautiful life and when I stop wishing for more or looking to the right and the left I can see it. I can see how blessed I am to have witnessed every “first” my kids have had thus far. I get the privilege of being here with them. Yes relationships are hard and those with my kids is sometimes painful, but incredibly worth it.
I am a mom, and my goal is to be.
