You all know I LOVE P
I love them so much I wanted to take this Friday’s feed and introduce you to one very close to me.
The Pilgrimom is a Podcast spoken and produced by one of my dearest friends, Miranda Mantei.
Miranda is a fellow homeschooling mom of two, who happen to be students in Classical Conversations, as well. She has been a friend for over 15 years. I was a guest at her wedding and her mine. We have attended a young married bible study together, with our spouses, for 13 years. It is safe to say we know a thing or two about each other.
She asked me at the launch of her Podcast, back in November, if I would be a guest. I am delighted to be a guest! On this particular Podcast, we laughed, we got a smidgen serious, and she found out something she didn’t know about me (you’ll have to listen).
The Podcast I am referring to is titled “Homeschooling in Community: An Interview with Rebecca Verkerk. “
We talked about homeschooling and what my perfect day would look like (you can read that here). How I was enjoying being a Challenge B Director, and if this new role was changing my perspective on other areas of life. The one question she asked that I was not prepared for was, “what do I say to a parent, who is thinking about homeschooling, but believes that can’t (for various reasons).” You’ll have to tune in to hear how I answered that specifically. But if you’ve spent any time with me, you might know my answer.
Needless to say, I want you all to go and listen to The Pilgrimom and specifically the one I am interviewed in. You might be hooked.
Miranda has such a heart for the Lord and His word it oozes onto everything she does. You will find yourself encouraged, motivated, and inspired to keep homeschooling and being the women God has made you to be.
