Merry Christmas
Hi all! It’s Christmas Eve and I am sure you are wrapping, decorating, and celebrating with your family both near and far.
We left the mountain yesterday and headed down to my brothers house in sunny, warm, southern California. I love coming down here, but the drive is always more scary then the last time. I come from the mountains where there is no stop lights and the hwy has one lane in both directions. When there is traffic its when the ski resort is closing, so when we arrive in LA traffic I am more thankful for my quiet town then ever.
This is the first Christmas in 8 years that the whole family has been under one roof. We’ve added 5 kids and 3 spouses to the mix over the years, so its noisy, busy, crowded and absolutely wonderful. Isn’t that what the holidays are about? ![]()
Today we are going to enjoy the sand, the surf and more importantly each other. I pray each of you have a blessed Christmas tomorrow and if your traveling please drive safely.

As a Classical Homeschooling mom of two I have no idea where I find the time to be here, but I love this blog and like me it changes in appearance a lot, but the core stays the same. I adore my life and wouldn't change one crazy day of it.

Just thinking of LA traffic makes me anxious! Have a Merry Christmas with your family!
